Singing and creating music in these choirs would be a wonderful addition as it complements your Performing Arts Home Education program. These choirs would be great for those students who are already learning a musical instrument; however, no previous singing or musical experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome!

Junior Choir
Ages 5-11
Have fun by coming along and joining other primary-aged children to create a “joyful noise unto the Lord.” This singing group will occur each week in a 30-minute group lesson as children will experience simple echo songs, rounds, action-based songs, musical games, hymns and worship songs. Simple musical concepts such as: rhythm, beat, pitch, notation, dynamics etc will be covered throughout the year as we join together to form a beautiful sound in praise to our Father.
Senior Choir
Ages 12-18
This older group of students will have the opportunity to sing some more complex songs as they explore repertoire that will be more age-appropriate and challenging. Your teens will be able to sing and worship our Father in heaven along with others as they learn some rounds, gospel music, praise & worship songs, and beautiful, timeless hymns. Your young person will love the joy and camaraderie that is experienced when singing together with others, while creating beautiful harmony parts together in our 40-minute group lessons.
Welcome to the team Taya!
Taya Joppich was trained as a Primary Music classroom teacher at the University of South Australia - Magill Campus (1994-1997) and has previously taught instrumental music lessons as well as run school, community and home-schooling group bands & choirs. She has been home-educating her 4 children for the past 18 years, and in 2026 will now be taking on the newly created position at “Your Amazing Child” of Musical Director of the two choirs.

To accommodate families with children interested in joining both choirs, we will run the rehearsals back-to-back on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Come and try Week One and if you decide not to continue you will only be invoiced for that week.
